This blog is dedicated to my ancestors of Nicholas County, Kentucky. I have have over 250 ancestors from this area and their lives span over 200 years. You are welcome to comment on anything that has to do with ancestry, Kentucky history, your own Kentucky genealogy or anything about Nicholas County, even recent happenings!

At the bottom of the page is a place to comment. There are many unknown people in these photos and we would love to identify them. Some of the mystery album pictures have names, but we still do not know who this person was. This page is a chronicle of my journeys relating to genealogy and genealogy research. Some places I visit will be the localities of where my ancestors once lived. Other places will be a wonderful libraries and archives in which research can be conducted.

Family History Library ~ Salt Lake City

This Monday, February 7th I will be traveling to Salt Lake City to do research at the Family History Library. I will also be attending the Rootstech Conference which is relating to a mix to genealogy and technology. I am looking forward to both of these opportunities! This will be my third time to conduct research at this wonderful place.
